Measuring pH

  4. Wait for the display to stop changing.
  5. Freeze the display. Press the Set/Hold button for 2-3 seconds until HOLD appears on the secondary display.
  6. Record the pH and water temperature on the data sheet.
  7. Press the On/Off/Mode button to turn the meter off.
  8. Rinse, dry and re-cap the meter.

Calibrating the pH Meter
You need two bottles of known pH solution (7, 4 and/or 10).
  1. Place the electrode in the pH buffer 7 solution.
  2. The meter will recognise the buffer value and then display pH 4.01 USE.
  3. Rinse the electrode.
  4. Place the electrode in the second pH buffer either 4 or 10.
  5. OK appears on the display, when the meter recognises the second buffer. The meter then returns to normal measurement mode.
