Sustainability Expo at Louis Joel Centre - October 2016

Committee members, Mary Burbidge and Jenny Allen, gave a presentation on From Quarry to Tranquil Oasis on Thursday 13/10/16. 

Bird Sightings

• November 2016 - Most of the water birds seem to have gone north but a Bird Life Australia Beginners Outing held in the Park on Saturday morning 26 Nov saw lots of interesting bush birds. The most exciting was Common Bronzewing, not recorded in the park since 2009 and another park list first for Mary Burbidge, # 132
• October 2016 - Another new bird, an Olive-backed Oriole was heard and seen in the park on 7/10/16. It has been reported once before, in 2009, but was a first for Mary Burbidge, # 131.

2016 AGM - August 2016

Our AGM was held on Tuesday August 16 prefaced by an interesting presentation Adam Sapiano, snake catcher and owner of Reptiles Victoria. Retiring members, Christine and Geoff, were thanked for their contribution.
